A workout concept that helps motivate the mind and body is set to open this September in Irvine. SIX was
created by Orshi McNaughton, owner of the So Cal Boot Camp chain. She calls the concept “an integrative
wellness experience by fusing the fitness journey with personal development.”
“I wanted to create a new type of fitness studio where emotional wellness is just as important as nutrition, physical exercise and human connection,” said McNaughton.
“Our goal at SIX is to disrupt the fitness industry by launching this new franchise model as we plan to open hundreds of locations across North America and change the lives of five million people via our wellness studios, digital platform, motivational events and retreats.”
The studio is in the Los Olivos Marketplace and includes self-powered HIIT cardio equipment with treadmills, bikes, rowers, kettlebells and battle ropes.
The 50-minute workouts are centered on short intervals that run through six stations, hence the name of the concept.
SIX offers classes in a membership model, as well as individual class packages.
