After 20+ years of working retail on the east coast Kerry, along with her husband Mark and daughter Ashley,  yearned for a change of scenery and decided it was time in 2015 to head west. Shortly thereafter, they adopted the health conscious lifestyle that SoCal offered by way of marathons, beach walks, hiking, SUP, surfing, tennis and HIIT. It wasn’t long before they achieved their own fitness goals while also embracing the vibrant sense of community leading them to their eventual immersion into the fitness industry.

Shay She/Her
Manager / Coach
Shay simply fell in love with fitness! She found a fitness community and it changed her life. Born in Idaho, but raised in Orange County, it was natural for her to play sports as a youth. She was competitive to say the least; she played many, and had favorites...softball and soccer, excelled in soccer but had to cut it short just into college when she blew her knee out. Shay graduated with BFA in architectural design and spent 10 years in Northern California, working in design firms and ignoring her body.
Ultimately moving back to Orange County to start her own design firm saved her life.  Shay wants to be an inspiration and a motivator, fitness is not just about exercise; it’s a mindfulness, and a lifestyle of health and wellness.

Anthony He/Him
Manager / Coach

Anthony's passion is to help people change their lives in the simplest and most realistic way possible. Believing everyone deserves the right to good health and to be happy with themselves inside and out.

Getting fit and healthy does not have to be difficult, but oftentimes it is, with so much conflicting and contradictory information out there it can be very frustrating and confusing to know what to do. So Anthony gives clear concise information to guide you to be your best self.

Cassidy She/Her
Coach

Originally from San Diego, Cass found a home in the OC and a home gym at SIX after moving up here in 2019. She has been passionate about movement and working out since she was little. Competitive by nature, Cass played softball, field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse in high school, and as if that wasn’t enough, she picked up golf and soccer after college. At the age of 19, she seriously dived into the world of fitness and weightlifting and became so hooked that she had a hard time taking just one day off! Today, Cass is so excited to join the SIX family as a coach and considers it an amazing opportunity to channel and evolve her love for movement and proper form.

Always striving to push herself and grow, she is currently training for her first half marathon. ISSA Group Exercise.

Shawnie She/Her
Coach

Shawnie has always been an athlete, playing softball or snowboarding, staying active. It wasn’t until she discovered HIIT training about 7 years ago, that she realized how amazing it is and how much of an impact it had on her life. she was able to take that passion and turn it towards helping others with their fitness journey.
Shawnie will admit, she's a bit obsessed when it comes to correct form. She absolutely loves it when she can help someone improve their form and really help them to push themselves to their next level.

She is all about positive energy and teamwork! Positivity is infectious, it’s good for your soul!!

Christian He/Him

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, fitness and outdoor activities have always been a big part of his life. From baseball to hiking and snowboarding, he has always enjoyed being active. Fitness has been especially beneficial in getting him through the tough times. He is a firm believer in the mind-body connection and the benefits exercise brings not only physically, but also mentally. His goal is to help people make genuine long term and sustainable changes in a healthy and positive way.

Joahna She/Her

Joahna is passionate about fitness, dance, and to empower both women and men. Her hobbies are working out, dancing, pencil drawing, reading novels, reading oracle cards, collecting healing crystals, traveling and spending time with her family and dog. Joahna has her Computer Science degree from the University of Phoenix, and is on a Latin dance team. She is well certified with her Personal Training, Nutrition, and Group Exercise Instructor plus, a Meditation Certification.
 
Joahna says "after being a member at SIX for about a year I know that their programs work. The HIIT workouts gave me the endurance and stamina I’ve been needing for many years. The Nutrition Challenge has helped me live a sustainable lifestyle by eating healthy and giving me back my energy.

Naturally, this gravitated me to become a coach. When I teach a group class or have a personal training client, I observe their form and as needed, I correct it. I either go next to them, in front of them, or go on the floor with them to show proper form and movements. I am a true believer that proper form will help you work out more efficiently to target the muscle group you are working on, prevent injuries, to use your energy for that extra push, and breathe properly. I am here to inspire, motivate, and assist our members to accomplish their fitness goals.”

Dinara grew up in Irvine but spent the last decade living on the east coast and in Spain. Upon returning to her hometown last year she found SIX and immediately fell in love with the community and the mission of the studio. Having grown up doing ballet pre-professionally, she's always valued movement. In college, she was a member and choreographer of two dance groups. After graduating, her love for dance organically grew into a passion for fitness and it was when she discovered HIIT and never looked back. In 2018 she completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training from the Down Under School of Yoga in Boston. Her dream workout combo is HIIT & yoga. In her free time, Dinara loves reading, planning her next travel adventure, curating playlists, keeping up with fashion trends, and spending time with her friends.

Tracey is an avid outdoor enthusiast. Her love for surfing brought her to southern California from the mountains where she taught skiing and snowboarding for many years. Tracey has managed restaurants, hotels, spas and fitness centers throughout her career while dedicating her life to fitness, a healthy lifestyle and a well balanced life and this resonates positively through SIX.  AIPB.
