SIX Epic Human Xperience: Reopening News and Safety Protocols

SIX Epic Human Xperience lobby and retail area
Hello SIX Members!

We’re excited to announce that we’re reopening our gym next week on June 15th, 2020!

Welcome back! We can’t wait to get back into the gym to support you on your fitness journey! Before officially reopening, we would like to reassure you that SIX Epic Human Xperience is dedicated to welcoming back members and staff with caution and care.

We have always used strict cleaning standards to keep our gym clean, but we want you to feel confident returning. That is why we would like to share our new safety protocols and social distancing measures to help keep you safe.

Below we outline protocols that we, SIX Epic Human Xperience, will be taking to ensure your safety, as well as requirements for members and other changes:

How SIX Will Contribute to the Safety of Members and Staff:

1. Smaller Class Sizes
Classes will have a limited capacity of 9-10 members and 1 instructor. We will maintain social distancing guidelines with 6 feet between members at all times.

2. Equipment Policy Changes
Equipment will be sanitized as members move from each station. Members must gather weights prior to starting class; there will be no shared equipment.

3. Check-in Changes
We are doing temperature checks before each member enters the gym area. We are removing iPad check-ins to limit common touchpoints. We will check you in manually when you arrive. Walk-ins will not be allowed. (More information in the members section below.)

4. Modified Class Schedules and Layouts
Class schedules will be modified to allow for extra time between classes for deep cleaning. We are adjusting the equipment layout in the gym to maintain at least 6 feet of distance between machines.

5. Staff Responsibilities
Our staff will disinfect high-touch surfaces, equipment, and common areas of the facility using disinfectant cleaning supplies according to CDC guidelines.

6. Protection for Staff
Gloves and masks will be provided for employees to utilize during their shift for their protection.

How SIX Members Can Contribute and What’s Required:

1. Register for Classes Online
You must register online prior to class. Walk-ins will not be allowed due to limited class sizes. Registration can be completed online through our website or through the MindBody app.

2. Arrival and Tardiness
Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to class start time – we will manually check you in. Please note: we will not accept late arrivals into class once the trainer has started.

3. What to Bring to Class
You must bring a large towel or yoga mat to every class – this is required to participate. We highly recommend bringing gym gloves to class as well to help keep equipment sanitized.

4. Member Safety and Social Distancing
Please wash your hands before and after class. Remember not to touch your face (eyes, mouth, and nose) with unclean hands. Keep a safe distance and continue to maintain social distancing with one another while on the premises.

5. Equipment Sanitation
At the end of class, your instructor will let you know where to place your used equipment. All equipment will be sanitized for the next class.

6. Familiarize Yourself With the Latest CDC Guidelines
Please refrain from visiting the gym if you display any of the COVID-19 symptoms or a fever of at least 100.4 F. Please be clear of any fever for 7 days prior to returning.

Thank you for all the love we’ve received during our temporary closure! This change has been tough on everyone, and we miss the relationships we’ve built with you. We look forward to reopening and supporting your health and wellness.

We’ll be taking a raincheck on high-fives for now, but let us continue to strengthen our connections with the SIX Workout community.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you next week!
